Cinema and Tourism: scenarios from films shot in Navarre to become an actor for a day
This tourism experience bonded to cinema offers the possibility of becoming an actor or actress for a day participating in the "filming" of three films shot in Navarra: 'La Brujas de Zugarramurdi', 'Robin y Marian' and 'Anacleto: agente secreto ', a unique experience to live in the most cinematographic scenarios of the Autonomous Community.
Every Sunday until September 16, tourists can be part of an akelarre in the Cave de Zugarramurdi, as in the film by Álex de la Iglesia 'Las Brujas de Zugarramurdi'; Emulate Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn in 'Robin y Marian' and ride through the forest of "Sherwood" in the Sierra de Urbasa; or be a secret agent in the Natural Park of the Bardenas Reales, as Imanol Arias in the film 'Anacleto: agente secreto'. This year there is a novelty included after the shoots: those who participate in the visits will have the possibility to taste a succulent menu of local artisan products, which will also be available to be purchased in the filming area.
In total there will be nine events and places are limited. Three companies of tourist activities will be responsible for directing the visits, which will begin with a brief explanation of the Ruta Navarra de Cine, a route including 13 scenarios in which 23 films have been shot.
This activity of Screen Tourism or Film Tourism organized by Turismo de Navarra aims to generate a change in the experience of the visitors coming to Navarra, going from passive contemplation to a personalized experience, through the development of augmented reality applications that provide additional data and virtual images, thus discovering the films of the cinema route.
