ICEX Invest in Spain publishes a new version of "Spanish Frames"

ICEX – Invest in Spain continues striving to position Spain as an international shooting destination. From the experience acquired in the audiovisual markets promoting the audiovidual industry through umbrella brands such as “Audiovisual from Spain” and “Cinema from Spain”, they have published a new version of this dossier aimed to highlight all the strengths that Spain has:

• Diversity of locations: diverse natural landscapes (dense forests, bleak deserts, unspoilt beaches, endless mountain ranges, etc.), architectural heritage (Andalusí, medieval castles, gothic architecture, roman remnants, modernism, etc.), cosmopolitan modernity (Madrid and Barcelona are leading cities with an extremely rapid development) and unchanged small villages.
• Its proven path as a shooting destination: Orson Welles, Clint Eastwood, “The Crown”, Ridley Scott, “Juego de Tronos”, George Lucas,  “Indiana Jones”, Woody Allen,… these (and many more) are names strongly associated with Spain.
• The enormous present and future potential: Spain counts with lots of highly graded audiovisual professionals, a public administration eager to help and offer solutions, a splendid climate for a large part of the year and one of the largest and most advanced transport networks in Europe.
• Tax concessions: a very favourable fiscal framework has been developed in Spain, with a 20% tax rebate and two special regimes in the Canary Islands (40%) and Navarra (35%).
