Spain Film Commission takes part in the 72nd edition of the Festival de Cannes

One more year Spain Film Commission takes part in Marche du Film in Festival de Cannes in the Pavilion “Cinema from Spain”, organized by ICEX together with  Oficina Económica y Comercial de España in Paris and the Instituto de la Cinematografía y de la Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA) located in the Riviera A5 in Palais des Festivals et Congress. In this Pavilion there are 11 exhibitors and regional organisms from Canary Islands, Basc Country, Madrid, Andalucia and, of course, Spain Film Commission, which will provide their  services to more than 50 companies and entities.

In Festival de Cannes more than 30 Spanish films participate, among which we can highlight the attendance of Pedro Almodóvar with his film “Dolor y Gloria” and the long-awaited return of Alejandro Amenábar with “Mientras dure la Guerra”.

This festival will take place from the 14th to 25th May and will count with 1845 feature films from 39 countries with a big compromise with gender equity and parity: 20 films were directed by women.

Spain Film Commission takes part in Marche du Film with a full agenda, continuing with its activity to attract shootings to Spain, spreading not only its locations, but also its tax incentive system and the features of the audiovisual industry.
