Spanish audiovisual industry meets in Los Angeles, to participate in the I Meeting Shooting in Spain

A large group of Spanish companies participate in the different activities: Able & Baker, Babieka Producer, Babieka Producer and Profilms, Cienfuegos Producciones, Danidogfilms, El Ranchito, Entropy Studio, Euromedia, Fresco Films, Irusoin, La Caña Brothers, La Claqueta, La Panda, Maestranza Films, Mediapro, Meñakoz Films, Morena Films, Moriarti, Palma Pictures, Producciones Transatlánticas, Secuoya, Seven Islands Films, Tarkemoto Films and Wise Blue Studios.

 

Members of Spain Film Commission represented by Andalucía Film Commission, Aragón Film Commission, Canary Island Films, Mallorca Film Commission, Valladolid Film Office, Valencia Film Office, will have a key role in spreading the benefits of filming in Spain.

 

The participating American companies and entities are: California Film Commission, Lionsgate Entertainment, Amazon Studios, Paramount, Netflix, The Walt Disney Company, Legendary, CBS Corporation, New Regency, Paramount, NBC Universal, HBO, A + E Networks, Amblin Partners, Focus Features and Spe Sony.

 

The initiative promoted by Spain Film Commission, is aligned with the strategy of creating an audiovisual HUB in Spain since the entity not only works to attract audiovisual shootings to Spain, but to ensure that professionals and companies in the audiovisual sector become “preferred partners ” of North American industry, fundamental objective of these meetings.

 

The 1st Shooting in Spain Meeting is sponsored by Grupo Mediapro and Grupo Secuoya Grou and with the collaboration of the Secretary of State for Tourism, ICEX - Invest in Spain, Consulate General of Spain in Los Angeles, Government of California and Los Angels City Government. The event is hosted by Honorary Ambassador of Spain Film Commission, James Costos. Efe News is the media parter of the event.
