The European Film Academy grants the title "Treasure of the European cinematographic culture" to the Plaza de España in Seville

With this title, the European Film Academy wishes to raise public awareness of places with a symbolic nature for European cinema, places of historical value that must be maintained and protected not only now but also for future generations.

On Sunday, November 5, an event was held to discover the commemorative plaque. Director of the EFA, Marion Dörin; the Minister of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía, Miguel Ángel Vázquez; the President and the Director of the Andalusia Film Commission, Carlos Rosado and Piluca Querol accompanied by various personalities from the world of culture atended to the event.
