Spain Film Commission will be at the 77th edition of the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes


Spain Film Commission will be at the 77th edition of the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes to promote Spain as an international filming destination with 10 of its members of the national network.

In addition to its presence in the market, the association has organized several activities focused on Spain's international relations in the audiovisual industry with other countries.

SFC has organized the Speed Dating with India & Spain producers, which will consist of a meeting between producers from the Spanish and Indian film industries to strengthen relations between both territories, organized together with FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry). It will take place on Saturday, May 18th, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the India Pavilion of the Marché du Film. Following the actions of the Spain Film Commission, Shooting in Spain: Focus on India, both countries show again their commitment to create institutional ties to promote and facilitate their audiovisual productions and shootings.

Italy will also be the focus of SFC's actions in the market. Cappuccino with the Italians, special guest: Spain Film Commission will be celebrated on Sunday, May 19th, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Italian Pavilion of the Hotel Majestic.

Spain Film Commission will also participate in the round table of the first India-Spain co-production on May 17th at 10:00 am at the India Pavilion. Juan Manuel Guimeráns, from SFC, will debate alongside Guillermo Rodríguez, from Casa de la India; the producer Anna Saura, and the producer Bobby Bedi.

The presence of Spain Film Commission will be supported by 10 members of its network attending the event: Andalucía Film Commission, Bilbao Bizkaia Film Commission, Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha Film Commission, Catalunya Film Commission, Film Madrid, Film Valencia, Madrid Film Office, Mallorca Film Commission, and Valladolid Film Commission.
