Safety and Hygiene in the Workplace
Spanish employment laws establish a series of measures to minimise the risks employees are subjected to and to guarantee their safety.
All audio-visual projects filmed in the country must have a safety and hygiene in the workplace plan and this must be validated by the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene in the Workplace - Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
There are specific regulations for contract staff, both technical and artistic, and these are listed in the collective agreement for the audiovisual production industry. The above establishes the salaries and conditions for the contracts according to defined categories.
