Extremadura Film Commission is a regional office created in 2008 by “Junta de Extremadura” inside of Extremadura Cinema Foundation. Since December, 2017, it is part of Extremaduran Foundation of Culture.
Being the main goal of the cinema and culture areas of Extremadura Cinema Foundation, the promotion and development of audiovisual as a strategic sector which links and strengthens other economic sectors , the functions of Extremadura Film Commission, as a filming office, are to inform, to advice, to help, and definitively to guide and to accompany, the professionals and companies of the audiovisual sector that wish to shoot in any part of Extremadura, acting as representatives and mediators with companies, public administrations and institutions which in any way are or may be involved in the cinematographic creation process in order to ensure its good production.
Filming in Extremadura is safe, easy and cheap.
